About Helen Woodward Design
Helen
Woodward Design was created in June 2005. After three years of assisting
on photoshoots for glossy magazines I wanted to get more involved in
design so began to create a range of jewellery.
Since then, my work has been featured in various publications including the Guardian's Saturday Style section and Marie Claire.
My jewellery comprise solid silver fluttering butterflies, curled petal flowers and delicate hearts imprinted with lace.
My vintage collection, using recycled vintage beads echo the nature inspired motifs found in my silver jewellery. Beautiful posy pearl bracelets and rings, buzzing bee long drop earrings, pretty pastel floral heart pendants and delicate filigree butterfly necklaces complete the look
Some of the silver pieces combine elements from my vintage collection, others are adorned with pearls or crystals
I Graduated from Nottingham Trent University's prestigious Textile
Design Degree with First Class Honours in 2000 and was a finalist in
the British Interior Textile Association 'Emerging Talent' Competition
in the same year.
'Designed for all occasions from the everyday to the special event, each piece is personally handcrafted. I have developed a distinctive signature style using vintage beads, semi precious gems, crystals, charms and freshwater pearls.'
